Since its formation in 1995, Ultraswing has been recognised as one of the UK’s most firmly established, well-respected and experienced Gypsy Swing Bands. In addition to entertaining and delighting audiences at wedding celebrations, private parties and the like, Ultraswing has performed regularly in major theatres, concert halls, arts centres and jazz clubs throughout the UK, and has appeared at several international jazz festivals.

The Ultraswing sound is driving, vibrant and exciting, presenting Parisian ‘Hot Club’ Swing Jazz favourites played as originally intended – with passion, brio and energy. Although the ensemble’s stylistic and musical provenance consists of several diverse influences, embracing Gypsy, Latin, Swing and traditional Eastern European genres, Ultraswing is nonetheless very much a product of the here and now.
