The Amberlights

Return to Previous Page

The Amberlights carefully select classic pop songs from each decade from the ’50s to the present day, arrange each one to suit their individual performance style, and then blend them into an eminently danceable mix that will appeal to people of all walks of life and please all generations.

“Take outstanding vocals – solo, duo or trio – and add superbly-crafted arrangements – then inject funky rhythm – it’s a brilliant party band…”

The Amberlights present a wonderful, easy-listening concoction which not only charms and entertains audiences of all ages and musical tastes, but also exerts enough kicking rhythm to fill the dancefloor and keep it full all night. The principal keynote is flexibility. Superb male and female voices sit at the top of the sound, supported by a heart-warming blend of harmony vocals. Incidentally, for a smaller, more intimate celebration, or if budget is an issue, this combination is available as a duo, accompanied by their own carefully-arranged and pre-recorded backing tracks.

Looking for a completely live full-band performance? A versatile keyboard and guitar, solidly underpinned and driven along by a rhythm section comprising bass guitar and drums, complete the sound. This instrumental line-up is available as a five-piece with either male or female vocalist, or as a six-piece including both. A seven-piece gives you a glamorous trio of female vocalists out front singing close harmony, Supremes-style.

As you might expect from such a well-organised and professional outfit, The Amberlights travel complete with a high-quality PA system which will produce an excellent sound in venues of any size, and can also supply lighting rigs for both the stage and dancefloor to suit each occasion.

Want to hold a great party for your special occasion? Keep the dancefloor heaving with a constant stream of pop classics from The Amberlights.

  • Energetic mix of iconic pop classics from the ’50s onwards

We know this is very belated, but thank you so much for providing such wonderful music at our wedding at the Burford Bridge Hotel. The band was everything we’d hoped it would be and our guests thoroughly enjoyed dancing to the live music. The band played brilliantly and we really enjoyed the set they performed.
