“Take two complementary acoustic guitars, then add superb harmony vocals with stunning arrangements – it’s a pop feast!”

As the name implies, Sunset Unplugged perform acoustically with minimal amplification. With carefully-crafted rhythmic arrangements on twin acoustic guitars embellished with an excellent topline of highly-polished harmony singing, the duo presents a really ear-catching musical blend.

Look forward to a mouth-watering trip through a star-studded selection of the very finest songs the pop world has to offer, spanning the decades from the 1950s all the way through to the present day. Romantic ballads rub shoulders with up-tempo dancefloor-fillers in a playlist ranging from Chuck Berry through Beatles to Coldplay. It’s all presented with an original twist and contemporary feel, giving a real freshness to their material.

You want the emphasis later on in the evening to be on music for dancing? Add a tasteful drummer offering sensitive rhythmic accompaniment to the mix, turn the guitars and vocals up a wee bit and this talented trio will have a small-to-medium-sized crowd on the dancefloor in no time.

Want an intimate celebration with great music? You’ll be in safe hands when these guys strike up – get ready to party with Sunset Unplugged!

    Giles' Themed Party

The band was brilliant. We’ve had many, many compliments about them. I also found Roy to be superb; very pleasant, reassuring and exactly what I wanted. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. I was absolutely delighted with the band; they looked the part, acted just right and performed a tight, well-played set. I’d hire them again any time. Excellent stuff.

    Jo's Wedding

    February 6, 2014 - 11:50 am

We had a wonderful wedding day, part of which is down to Sunset. We were entertained with a fantastic acoustic set during our wedding breakfast – one of the highlights of my day. Later we danced away to their top-class amplified set. In addition, the band were wonderfully accommodating, adapting their second set to fulfil requests from me and my mum. So many guests commented on how fantastic the band were. I’d thoroughly recommend them to others.
