Midnight Ramble Ceili Band

Return to Previous Page

Remember The Dubliners?  With the performance tightness that comes from two decades of playing together, The Midnight Ramble Ceili Band creates a sound just like ’60s Irish Band. When these guys strike up, you can easily imagine you’re in a bar in Bagott Street in downtown Dublin! The standard Midnight Ramble line-up is banjo/guitar, mandolin/fiddle, whistle and accordion, served up with excellent vocals and entertaining presentation. If you’re after a rip-roaring Irish night of songs and tunes, Dubliner-style, this is the band for you.

“Midnight Ramble Ceili Band will conjure up the true spirit of old Dublin for your celebration party…”

The four-piece band includes a dance-caller, so a barn dance or ceilidh can be organised if required. No previous experience is necessary, as the caller will come down onto the dance floor and walk you through the steps and moves. When your guests get tired or need a break (ceili-dancing is pretty energetic!) the band will launch into a rousing selection of traditional Irish songs. For larger events the full five-piece band, including an additional female singer, can present the additional option of a raunchy set of American Country/Pop songs to finish off the evening in real style.

As standard, Midnight Ramble come equipped with a high-quality PA system, adaptable to reproduce an excellent sound in venues of any size.

If you’re after a good old-fashioned night of Irish ‘craic’ with some great traditional musical entertainment, look no further than Midnight Ramble.
