Ian Towers Solo: Vintage Swing Jazz

Return to Previous Page

Ian’s dulcet tones are a perfect vehicle for the “Ratpack” songs that Frank Sinatra and Bing Crosby made their own in the glitzy Golden Hollywood Era.

” Vintage Swing Jazz performed with style and panache…”

Accompanying himself on synth piano with drum machine, Ian cleverly creates the sound of a full band without backing tracks. Ian is a one band Swing Jazz band!

For larger events Ian can readily augment his versatile piano/vocals with clarinet or saxophone, coupled with drums, to create an excellent dance band trio. Email or ring for a bespoke price.

Ian brings a high-quality PA to enhance and amplify the dynamics to suit any venue. Ian’s solo show is the perfect choice for a small themed Vintage style event.

    Rachel and Matthew's Wedding

    November 12, 2014 - 10:20 pm

Hi Ian, we both wanted to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding, we thought that you were absolutely fantastic and our guests commented on how wonderfully you played and sang during the wedding breakfast. We will certainly be recommending you to family and friends.

    Cassie's Wedding

    June 25, 2013 - 6:43 pm

I wanted to make contact to say a very big thank you for contributing toward the most perfect wedding day that we could have hoped for. As I explained, the piano is very close to my heart and having you play live was simply perfect. I remember having a quick chat with you at the piano after the ceremony when you offered to play until the receiving line, which was past the time that we had agreed when I booked you, and so I just wanted you to know how much I appreciated everything you did.
