Blazing Saddles

Return to Previous Page

Frenetic bluegrass fiddle takes the lead, while tasty guitar, bass and drums keep ‘that thar toon’ joggin’ along. With great harmony singing and excellent lead vocals, Blazing Saddles present all the best of classic American Country Rock. All those iconic old-time favourites are there too.

“Pull on those cowboy boots, add plenty of Yee-Haw and let Blazing Saddles bring the flavour of old-time America to your event!”

Of course, no American knees-up would be complete without a line-dance! Never done this before? No worries! Dixie takes you through each routine and makes those steps and turns seem easy – you’ll be ‘up and at it’ and slapping your boots with the best of them before you know it.

All aspects of musical performance and general presentation are expertly attended to. The band always provides a high-quality PA system as standard, together with a lighting rig suitable for any size of venue. Great care is taken to decorate the stage in good old-fashioned American national style with flags and bunting. Blazing Saddles’ costumes and slick presentation will get everyone into the right spirit from the word go.

So get out your kerchiefs and pull on your cowboy boots and Stetson for a generous slice of real live country entertainment. Sashay along to all those genre classics such as ‘Achy-Breaky Heart’, ‘All Shook Up’ and ‘Jolene’. It’s as American as Mom’s apple pie – it’s the Hillbilly Hoedown.

Just a quick email to say that Blazing Saddles were absolutely wonderful on Saturday. It was a very sensitive situation and they dealt with it brilliantly, pitching the music just right and kept things low key yet upbeat. Please could you extend my heartfelt thanks to them, it was a very special afternoon despite the circumstances, Kind regards, Catherine Borse

I just wanted to thank the members of the band for a wonderful evening; everybody enjoyed the square dancing and loved it when the band played outside by the bonfire.

We’d like to say a huge thank you for providing such fabulous entertainment for our wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn, Cheshire, this past February. It was the perfect evening accompaniment to a perfect day. We had such fun line dancing and barn dancing, and we loved how it involved all the guests. We have received so many comments from our guests at how much they enjoyed your sets (some even commenting that they lots a few pounds!). We would have no hesitation recommending you for any knees-up!

Please pass on our thanks as without your energy and encouragement I’m sure we wouldn’t have managed to dance quite as much as we did! What talent on our doorstep and it was fantastic for us to be supported by so many staff!

Thank you for a fantastic night, a great time was had by all. Though I’m staying in for at least two weeks from too much partying!!!! Would you please pass on my kindest regards to the rest of your band, I hope we were all well behaved enough for you. Thank you again and I’ll certainly keep you in mind for other theme nights we have.
